11 STEP PAINTING PROCESS

1. Trench 2" below the ground around the foundation where it meets the earth.

2. Pretreat mold and mildew with a combination of bleach and TSP (trisodium phosphate) to kill and eliminate it.

3. Pressure wash with a 3000 psi pressure washer to ensure proper cleaning for good adhesion of the paint coating.

4. Repair and texture all cracks and voids in stucco surfaces to match existing texture.

5. Repair, scrape, patch or sand all wood surfaces with appropriate patching materials and abrasives. Replacement of wood available at an additional cost.

6. Caulk or fill all wood to wood and wood to stucco joints with appropriate caulk, spackle or putty as required to span and seam joints.

7. Prime all bare wood, stucco and metal surfaces with an appropriate primer suited to the surface and existing condition and enviroment.

8. Mask all windows and cover any fixtures, furniture, landscaping, hardscape or any other item to protect them from being painted in the course of painting.

9. Apply all paint with an 3000 psi airless sprayer on all surfaces except for trim and doors for complete and even coverage.

11. Clean up and remove all masking, coverings and any accidental paint drips or overspray.

12. Do a walk-through final inspection with owner or manager to ensure quality and correction of any items missed or overlooked.
